Before taking the exam, you are required to pass an approved pre-education course, such as the ones provided by CPMI, with at least a score of seventy percent. Acceptable course options are online and textbook. CPMI offers English and Spanish versions of the online and textbook courses. When you choose CPMI you will be given the full twenty hours of instruction that are also required. When taking the exam, you must have a proctor present that is not a family member or business associate. You will only have 180 days after passing the pre-education course to take your final exam.
