Before you get started you should get to know what the requirements are for becoming licensed in Life and Health. In order to be eligible to obtain your insurance license, you must first pass an approved pre-education course such as the courses provided by CPMI. You must also receive twenty hours of instruction for the Life and Health Department. Acceptable courses for the state of Washington include online, textbook, and classroom courses. CPMI works with large groups in addition to individuals. To pass the state licensing exam, you must receive at least a seventy percent. A proctor is not required when taking the course completion exam. Course completion certificates are only valid for twelve months from the date of the course completion.
