Ohio state requires that you take and pass an approved pre-education course such as CPMI with a score no less than seventy percent before being allowed to continue onto the final examination. Online, textbook, and classroom courses are all acceptable course options for Ohio. For convenient at-home self-study, CPMI offers online and textbook courses in both English and Spanish. Twenty hours of instruction is required by the state and CPMI will meet this standard. When taking the final exam you must have a proctor present. The proctor cannot be a family member or business associate. Upon completion of the required pre-licensing education course, you will have 180 days to take your licensing exam.
