Pennsylvania Broker Exam
If you are wanting to become a broker in the state of Pennsylvania, you must first successfully pass a broker exam. Before you can be eligible to take a broker exam in Pennsylvania, you are required to complete a pre-licensing course (like CPMI). If you are applying for a new Broker License, you will need to complete 24 hours of pre-licensing education, with 3 hours of Ethics. In order to maintain your Broker License in Pennsylvania, brokers are required to take continuing education. CPMI pre-licensing courses were created by experienced insurance brokers who know the materials and knowledge you need to pass your Pennsylvania Broker Exam. We want to make taking your pre-licensing course as stress-free as possible. With the ability to complete the courses online from your home and on your personal schedule, we know that you will be pleased. Not to mention CPMI offers so many fantastic features like online textbooks, study materials, workbooks, and our state exam simulator that lets you take practice test to get you ready for your broker exam.
When you pass your pre-licensing exam we will give you a completion certificate. From the date that you receive your certificate, Pennsylvania gives you one year to then take and pass your broker exam. When you go to take your exam make sure you take your certificate, a valid id and, it is advised, a credit card. Once you pass the broker exam, you will have the opportunity to apply right there at the testing facility for your license (this is the recommended way to apply as it speeds up the process). Pennsylvania does require all applicants to also complete fingerprinting. The testing facility should provide you with the necessary information for this after you pass your exam.
