Connecticut Pre-License Health Course
If you are considering becoming a Health Insurance producer in the state of Connecticut, you will need to enroll in a Connecticut Insurance Department approved pre-licensing Health course. It is required for each individual that is wishing to obtain a Health Insurance license to first finish a minimum of 40 course education hours. CPMI is approved from the unit who overlooks the educational standards and the requirements to take the exams; this unit is Connecticut Insurance Department. All of our online courses, materials and professionals are well-educated instructors that meet the standards of this unit. We are well aware that taking on one more time commitment isn't an easy feat; when you take the online courses through CPMI, we make it as easy as possible for you. Being able to be flexible on when and where you can fulfill your education course hours really is a big bonus.
When you have finished with your health pre-licensing course with 40 hours, you will then take a course final exam. When you take this exam, you will be required to have a proctor present during your test. A passing grade is 70% or higher and when you pass CPMI, will provide you with a course completion certificate. The state of Connecticut then allows for one year to then take and pass your Health Insurance exam. Connecticut has insurance qualifications; to take the exam, they require you to have completed your 40 hours of pre-licensing education, have a certificate of course completion, be 18 years of age or older, be a resident in Connecticut, and not ever been denied or suspended from an insurance license. Scheduling for the health exam is done through a third party at http://www.prometric.com. After you pass the state Health exam, you can then submit a Health Insurance licence application. You will then be ready to be a licensed Health agent in the state of Connecticut.
