IN Insurance Continuing Ed (CE) Courses
Indiana insurance continuing education required credit hours must be completed per the requirements of the Department of Insurance. All licensed resident producers must complete 20 hours of CE every two years to fulfill Indiana insurance license renewal requirements.
Indiana Insurance CE Requirements- IN renewal requires 20 hours of CE.
- Limited lines license renewal requires 5 hours of CE.
- Limited lines & Title insurance license renewal requires 7 hours of CE.
- For CE credits to count towards license renewal, they must be taken during the validity period of the previous license renewal period.
Indiana does not require CE for limited lines producers who are licensed without requiring an examination, limited lines credit producers, or producers licensed for at least 20 continuous years and at least 70 years of age.
Active duty servicemen and servicewomen are exempt from the Indiana CE requirement.
Under federal law, even exempt individuals must take the required LTC course before they can begin selling long term care policies.
