AZ Insurance Continuing Ed (CE) Courses
Arizona insurance continuing education rules for producer insurance license renewal require 40 hours of approved CE courses for Arizona resident agents licensed as non-resident agents in any other state before Arizona insurance license renewals will be approved.
All licensed resident insurance producers, surplus lines broker, and managing general agents are required to complete approved Arizona insurance continuing education before renewing their licenses.
Arizona Insurance CE Requirements- 40 hours of CE are required for license renewal for licenses of greater than a 2 year duration.
- 20 hours of CE are required for license renewal for licenses a 2 year duration or less.
- Courses can be retaken for credit in separate AZ license renewal periods.
- Excess AZ CE credit hours will not carry over to other renewal periods.
The Arizona Department of Insurance does not require CE for the renewal non-resident insurance producer.
Under federal law, even exempt individuals must take the required LTC course before they can begin selling long term care policies.
